General information: Walking Act - Stage Act
Invasion of Moonlight cannot simply be explained, this performance can only be experienced live. In fact it proposes the idea of a “different/another” space, with a sense of gravity unlike that on Earth, a sense of a very remote a world, populated by imaginary beings venturing in unexplored places. 
This is a performance evoking a universe of surreal imagination using body, costumes, tools, and a play of lights and shadows.
This effect is created by dance combined with optical illusions supported by a light design project and video imagines. Invasion of Moonlight  is an invitation to flee from the real world and plunge into the magic of mystery. This is achieved thanks to its visual seduction, where invented fascinating cosmic objects leap and fluctuate in a metaphysical moon sea

Walking Act:
Before or after the parade (to be agreed depending on the type of event) the group splits and forms couples or individual characters depending on the technical structure of the costumes; these characters sneak and crawl in the various streets and/or locations/venues in the festival area, outdoor and indoor locations/venues whenever possible. A real Invasion.
During itinerant parade stilt acrobats and danceing actors glide amongst the crowd, creating illuminated tableau vivant (living pictures). Stilts as a stage to catalyse attention. The mastery of the actors becomes a game, which interacts with adults and children, while dance becomes a magic ritual able to lift the audience from the ground and take them into a dreamy dimension, with music and sound from the company repertoire.

The cast can include a musician.The director consider/suggest whether or not  to include a musician.  During parade or walk act we suggest a minimum of 5 artists but we are flexible according to the event .
 
AUDIO AND LIGHTS
So that the performance can show to their full potential is crucial that artists can take advantage of a good sound system and an appropriate setting.
That is why artists need to agree with the audio and lighting at the event.
So kindly note that we wish to co-ordinate with any sound & lighting that accomapnies the event.  The company is understood to  provide for the sound system and lighting costs.
Below, is a list of elements that I prefer to use based on what each event demands. Also pls. note that, at times, I make use of  a technician associated with our collective.

  • SUPER Clean DRESSING ROOM that can be locked and not open to the public. The dressing room or room should not be accessible to guests, non-professionals, people with material or objects that may damage the company's material (food, drink, colors, etc.)
  •  Close to the stage or location where the show will take place , for dress up ,make up and physical preparation; space for muscular and athletic warming up , make-up and dressing; this technical requirement is critical, in case the space is not appropriate the artist will not be able to perform
  • The space must be heated in winter if needed orsheltered from the sun and rain in the summer if necessary
  • warming up(2 hours minimum ).
  • Min 1 hours of preparation foreach performance
  • Table with min. a chair for each artist
  • Possibility to use a bathroom near the dressing room ,not open to the public.
  • Full-length mirror.  tables with 1 chair FOR EACH ARTIST.
  • Inspection  of the location before the  show or the event.
  • FOR WALKING ACT: STREETS FREE FROM OBSTACLES / NOT SLIPPERY OR WET FLOORS
  • Space suggested : 3mt height when we using stilts walkers ;if the space is smaller or larger or includes corridors between tables pls advice us with room or stage plan and measurements ; if is on a street festival advice us with map
  • The organizer has to ensure the application of Sabam (author's rights or any performance rights organisation (PRO) of your country)and the authorization of the police and fire department..
  • The organizer is responsible for the safety
  • The salary is paid after the performance unless otherwise agreed.
  • If the acts are performed abroad, if it is too late to go home or if they have to play several days the organization needs to provide hotel accommodations for the team, meals and beverages.
  • Travel expenses are organised by the organiser or paid in advance.
  • The date is only set when the contract has been signed
