the lost frogs is an enchanting mechanical installation with a nod to the dire situation of amphibians in Europe – did you know that no less than 90% are threatened with extinction?
In this lively display, frogs jump up and down with enthusiasm, their mouths wide open and closing again. But beware: they are hungry! It is up to the participants to feed them in time and thus ensure their survival.
The green frog, the brown frog and the tree frog not only show a fine example of mechanical craftsmanship, but also tell a story.
Perhaps the operator behind the installation will reveal the secret of the frog?

Passage and accessibility of the playing area during set-up and dismantling for 1 x van (L: 430cm, W: 210cm, H: 210cm) ︎ ︎

  • Ttotal surface area to be provided by the organizer: 4 m x 4 m with firm, straight, even surface! (+ fencing if necessary).
  • 220 v-16A power point
  • Backstage near playing area
  • For safety reasons, De lost frogs does not play in heavy rain, wind or storm.
     
  • 1 reserved parking space for 1 van. (L: 430cm, W: 210cm, H: 210cm) vehicle registration plates available max. 1 week before event.
    ○ Transport must be able to drive to the playing area!
    ○ If the installation remains in place for several days, the necessary precautions must be taken to prevent vandalism (Heras fences, security, ...)
    ○ ​If the set-up/dismantling cannot take place on the day itself due to playing times, we will charge an extra day to the buyout price
  • Catering The catering (drinks & meals) for the artists and crew members is at the expense of the organizer
    Catering for 1 actor, with healthy snacks and drinks
  • Accommodation (if necessary)
    •  rooms are necessary when performing for more than 1 day or if the distance is too far or too late at night to return.
    • Hotel / B&B with parking, within 10min drive of the venue unless otherwise agreed.
